Blake is the Lead Pastor at New Covenant Church. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree from Liberty University. Blake has been an executive in corporate and government finance, Christian education, and ministry. He is licensed as a CPA in North Carolina and as a Christian School Superintendent. As Lead Pastor, Blake loves to build healthy teams and communities. He wants everyone to know the joy and power of a Spirit-filled life. On the weekends, he enjoys fly fishing on remote trout streams, relaxing at a campground, or grilling out with friends and family.

Rebecca Stanbery is a Ministry Pastor at New Covenant Church. She holds a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in Communications. Prior to being in ministry, Rebecca worked in the marketing industry and was a landscape designer. Rebecca is passionate about the spiritual needs of the congregation and focuses on Inner Healing.  She also loves connecting with people through food and fellowship. She believes that relational ministry can happen when you break bread together. Outside of ministry, Rebecca enjoys flower gardening, cooking and camping with her family.

Jenny is the Worship Pastor at New Covenant Church. Jenny holds a bachelor’s of arts degree from The School of Music at The University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and has worked in sales and management in the healthcare industry prior to NCC. As the Worship Pastor at NCC, Jenny has a passion for leadership, creativity, collaboration, and what each member of the NCC worship community can contribute to our times of corporate worship. She values people and the diverse gifts God places in each of us, knowing that our gifts and abilities were given that they may be shared. She is a leader with a deep love of ministering to the triune God and His people using music as our primary tool. In her free time, Jenny, who identifies as an enneagram 7, enjoys wearing out her whole family doing all the things that “sound like fun” with her husband Travis Murray, their two girls, Lila Belle and Betha, plus friends and extended family whenever possible.

Amy is one of our Family Ministries Pastors at New Covenant Church. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry and Theology from Central Bible College and has worked in Youth Ministry for twenty-eight years in six states. As a Family Ministries Pastor at NCC, Amy is passionate about equipping families to raise sons and daughters in their unique identity through encounters with God. She believes in providing opportunities for children and teens to grow a 3D vision: discovering love, developing lives, and deploying leaders. On the weekends, Amy enjoys spending time with her three amazing children and husband, hiking, finding treasures by thrifting, snuggling up with a good book, or scrapbooking.  

Herman provides leadership and pastoral oversight to our Student Ministries, Men's Ministry, Growth Groups, Connection Teams and Community Outreach Teams. He received his bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry and Leadership from Vanguard University in CA and has worked in youth, children's and worship ministry for well over twenty years. Herman originates from Los Angeles, CA but has been all over the world doing ministry for Jesus. He believes that the Christian life should be the most amazing and exciting life people experience on the Earth. As one of the Family Ministries Pastors at NCC, his dream is to see parents equipped, empowered and encouraged to take their place as the primary pastors of their children and to see children and youth raised up to do the works of Jesus on the earth today.  In his free time, Herman enjoys hiking, riding his Harley, and having new experiences in new places with his amazing wife and children.

Allison is the Discipleship and Communications Director at New Covenant Church. She holds a bachelor's degree in Discipleship and Biblical Studies from Gardner Webb University. As the Discipleship and Hospitality Director at NCC, Allison is passionate about leading people beyond salvation and into a daily relationship with Jesus. She is also passionate about fostering deep-rooted community and international mission work. On the weekends, Allison enjoys running her photography business, being outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Elizabeth Hamilton is the Student Ministries Director at NCC. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Carolina University. Elizabeth formerly taught high school English prior to joining the staff at NCC. She is passionate about raising up a new generation of powerful Christ-followers who have a heart to seek God in all aspects of their lives. She wants to see the students in our community encounter God in a deep and personal way and find hope and purpose in Him. In her free time, Elizabeth loves spending quality time with her friends and family, doing things outdoors, writing her blog, and having simple evenings at home with her husband, Kyle.
